Jennifer Grasso

Project Coordinator
University of Washington, Dept. of Global Health

Jennifer is the Project Coordinator for the Global Health Cost Consortium and Research Assistant with the Disease Control Priorities Network. She manages meeting logistics and liaises with international stakeholders for GHCC and offers administrative support to DCPN’s volume production and dissemination.

Prior to joining UW, Jennifer worked with the NGO, Global Brigades, in Honduras and Ghana. Over several years, she lead the organization’s Patient Referral and Community Health Workers programs and later acted as Programs Manager for its West Africa projects. Jennifer is passionate about community-based initiatives focusing on health access and chronic disease prevention and has conducted independent research in these areas in Honduras, Ghana, Bolivia, and the US. In 2015, Jennifer received her MPH from Yale University with a concentration in chronic disease epidemiology and immediately drove cross-country to move to Seattle with her longtime co-investigator and fiancé. When she is not enjoying her 13th floor view from NJB, Jennifer is out training as a long distance runner, searching for new rock climbing routes and hiking trails, or making homemade projects on her savvy sewing machine.
