Fred Hersch is a Clinical Research Fellow in Healthcare Innovation at The George Institute for Global Health. His research interests are focused on the intersection of health and technology and how current and emerging technologies can be harnessed to improve access to essential healthcare; in particular the emerging problems of non-communicable diseases amongst disadvantaged communities.
Fred trained in Medicine and Public Health at the Sydney Medical School, Australia where he was previously working as a clinician. Fred came into healthcare with a background in Business and Information Technology and seven years of commercial experience in the analysis, design and implementation of web based solutions.
