Huihui Wang, M.D., Ph.D., is a Senior Economist at the World Bank Group with 20 years of experiences working in low, middle and high income countries. She advises countries on health system reforms including public financing, health insurance, service delivery and quality of care. She is appointed by the President of Ghana as a member of Technical Review Committee for the reform of Ghana National Health Insurance Scheme. She leads the World Bank’s support to governments at country level with the goal of achieving Universal Health Coverage, preparing, implementing and evaluating lending operations in China, Ethiopia, Zambia, etc. In addition to the extensive experiences, Huihui's multi-disciplinary background makes her a competent player in global health field: a medical degree from Beijing Medical University, an M.A. degree in economics and a Ph.D. degree in health services and policy analysis from University of California, Berkeley. She has extensive teaching experience to executives, mid career, graduate students, and undergraduates through lectures at Peking University, UC Berkeley and the World Bank.
