Nicholas B. Allen

Dr. Allen is a clinical psychologist and affective and social neuroscientist who is investigating the interaction between biological, psychological and environmental risk factors during adolescent development in order to more fully understand how to prevent mental health problems and encourage healthy development during this critical stage of life. He has published over 140 peer reviewed scientific papers and book chapters, and 4 books, addressing vulnerability to, and treatment of, depression, as well as basic psychological and biological aspects of affect and interpersonal processes.
