Tara Hill

Results for Development Institute

Tara Hill is a Program Officer at the Results for Development Institute (R4D).  Tara works primarily on the Center for Education Innovations (CEI), an initiative that seeks to identify, analyze, and connect non-state education innovations in low- and middle-income countries. Specifically, she manages content development for the Programs Database and supports CEI’s analytics activities. Tara also works on the R4D-led evaluation of the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation’s cluster of investments in citizen-led assessments and supports evaluation activities for ASER in India, Beekungo in Mali, and Jangandoo in Senegal. In addition, Tara contributed to the research and writing of a Rockefeller Foundation-funded study that explores skills training programs for ICT-enabled employment opportunities: Training Models for Employment in the Digital Economy.
 

Tara graduated Summa Cum Laude from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service with a B.S in International Affairs, where she studied Regional and Comparative Studies and International Business Diplomacy. At Georgetown, Tara spent a semester studying in Vietnam and teaching English at the University of Economics in Ho Chi Minh City, and a summer working for a sustainable development organization in Jaipur, India. Tara speaks French and Spanish.
