Linda Schultz

Linda is a member of the school health team at the World Bank as a Consultant, where she will working with DCP3 as Volume 3 coordinator, the African Program for Onchocerciasis Control and other projects. Linda comes to the Bank from the National Cancer Institute where she worked as a Health Communications Fellow in the Division of Cancer Epidemiology and Genetics. While at the NCI, Linda translated and disseminated cancer research findings through multiple mediums to relay the impact of cancer research on public health.
Linda served as a Tuberculosis Intern with USAID’s Global Health Fellow’s Program II, within the Office of Health, Infectious Diseases and Nutrition. While at USAID, Linda developed a matrix to analyze Global Fund applications and country reports. Before USAID, Linda worked as an English teacher in Japan, helping develop a pilot curriculum for elementary schools and training native Japanese teachers to independently teach English. She also managed a mobile health randomized control trial in Ecuador to reduce loss to follow-up among post-partum patients. Linda has a Master's in Public Health from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor's in Community Health and International Relations from Tufts University. She speaks English, Spanish, Japanese, and American Sign Language.
