Karin Stenberg has worked as a health economist with the World Health Organisation in Geneva, Switzerland since 2004. She is responsible for the development and application of tools for costing, cost-effectiveness and expenditure tracking, with a primary focus on health systems and the MDGs. She is a member of the UN inter-agency working group that is developing the OneHealth Tool for supporting country strategic health planning, and has supported multiple global cost and impact assessment analyses with advocacy implications, including the IHP+ high level task force on innovative international financing for health systems, and the global strategy for women's and children's health.
