Dr Lisa Keay is a Senior Research Fellow in the Injury Division at The George Institute and a conjoint Senior lecturer in the Sydney Medical School at the University of Sydney. She is an injury epidemiologist with a PhD in ophthalmic epidemiology, University of NSW Wales and a post-doctoral research fellowship from Johns Hopkins University.
Lisa is currently evaluating a multi-faceted educational program to promote the use of child restraints to protect child passengers in the event of road crashes. Building on her background in vision research she is developing a research program focusing on aging, mobility and safety. She has graduate students working in the areas of postural stability in low vision, ophthalmic epidemiology, burden of injury in India and child restraint use in Australia.
