Dr Emily Stockings (BPsyc(Hons), PhD) commenced work as a Post Doc Research Fellow at NDARC in August, 2013. She completed her PhD in August 2014 at the University of Newcastle examining the feasibility, acceptability and efficacy of an integrated smoking cessation treatment model within inpatient and community mental health services. She has experience in the design, implementation and evaluation of randomised controlled trials, with a focus on evidence-based substance use treatment interventions for persons with a mental disorder. Emily is currently working with the Centre for Research Excellence in Mental Health Systems Improvement (CREMSI) developing an evidence base for the cost-effectiveness of preventive mental health interventions.
