Results for Development Institute
Daniel Plaut is a Senior Program Associate at the Results for Development Institute (R4D) where he works with the Center for Education Innovations (CEI) as well as supporting various other team initiatives.
Previously, Daniel worked as a Writer and Copy Editor for Think Africa Press, where he contributed articles on conflict and development initiatives in Southern and East Africa. He has worked with several international education and conflict resolution organizations, including World Learning, Search for Common Ground and the Global Peace Exchange, where he co-led the establishment of an academic resource center at Bukomero Primary School in Rwanda.
Daniel holds a BA in International Affairs and Commercial Music from Florida State University, and recently completed a MSc in Violence, Conflict and Development from the School of Oriental and African Studies, where his research focused on the politics of Rwanda’s educational language transition, from French to English.
