Unidad Nacional de Oncologia Pediatrica, Guatelmala
Dr Federico Antillon is the Medical Director of Unidad Nacional de Oncologia, Pediatrica and Secreatary in the School of Medicine at Universidad Francisco Marroquin, Guatemala. Dr. Antillon obtained his Medical degree from the Universidad Francisco Marroquín, Guatemala and his general pediatric training from Universidad de Navarra, Spain, from where he also received a Ph.D in cellular biology. Dr. Antillon received a fellowship in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Seattle, Washington.
Dr. Antillon is the Fellowship Director of the Joint Program Unidad Nacional de Oncología Pediátrica and the School of Medicine, Universidad Francisco Marroquín. He is also one of the founders of the Fundación Ayúdame a Vivir, a key institution in the development of a treatment program for pediatric cancer in Guatemala. Dr. Antillon is the author of several book chapters and more 100 medical articles.
