Brie joined the Disease Control Priorities Network in 2011 after four years of working for nonprofit organizations and the U.S. federal government. As the Director of Project Management, Brie provides day-to-day management of the DCPN activities – including oversight of the coordination, production, and publication of Disease Control Priorities, Third Edition, and managing all project budget activities and financial flows. Brie also served as volume coordinator for three DCP3 volumes: 2. Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn and Child Health; 6. Major Infectious Diseases; and 7. Injury Prevention and Environmental Health.
Additionally, Brie is responsible for implementing and overseeing the project’s communications strategy, maintaining the DCP3 website, and serving as liaison to the World Bank marketing and communications team. Brie received her Bachelor’s Degree in Politics and Government from University of Puget Sound and her Masters in Public Administration, with a focus in Nonprofit Management and Leadership, from the George Washington University in Washington, DC.
