On Monday, April 20, DCP3 Series Editors Dr. Dean Jamison and Dr. Rachel Nugent presented at the Ministerial Forum for Finance Ministers, hosted by the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and Harvard Kennedy School. Dr. Jamison opened the session with an overview of DCP3 and a discussion on promising approaches to universal public finance. Dr. Nugent followed with a discussion on policy levers designed to make national health budgets more efficient. She presented case studies from Mozambique, Thailand, and the Pan American region.
Meeting attendees included finance ministers from 12 different nations, Harvard faculty members, and global health experts.
