Priorities 2022: 13th International Society for Priorities in Health Conference

The Bergen Centre for Ethics and Priority Setting (BCEPS), University of Bergen is hosting the 13th edition of the International Society for Priorities in Health Conference on 28-30 April, 2022. The conference is entitled Fair Priorities in Unjust Circumstances: Emergencies, Universal Health Coverage and High-Cost Interventions and will feature traditional paper presentations, plenary sessions, and parallel sessions.

The third day of the conference will focus on Universal Health Care Priority Setting, with a thematic session on exchanging country experiences and challenges in setting up or revising UHC Essential Packages of Health Services in low resource settings. The session will take stock of successes achieved in six countries and highlight challenges and lessons learned.  The experience of Pakistan in developing a national UHC EPHS based on DCP3 evidence and model package will also be shared.
