USAID Launches Maternal & Child Health Program in Pakistan

On June 28, 2013 U.S. Ambassador to Pakistan Richard Olson announced the launch of the Maternal and Child Health program in Sindh, Pakistan. The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) will support current efforts in Pakistan to reach mothers and children with integrated family planning and health services with the goal of reducing maternal and child mortality.  The program also provides technical assistance to health and population sectors at all levels to imrove health care service delivery.
