DCP3 Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health editor Dr. Marleen Temmerman, along with DCP3 Senior Health Economist Dr. Carol Levin, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation's Jerker Liljestrand, and FIGO's Professor Gamal Serour participated in a panel discussion at the FIGO World Congress of Gynecology and Obstetrics on October 8, 2015 in Vancouver, BC. The panel session was co-sponsored by DCP3 and the World Health Organization, and highlighted the DCP3 messages from the RMNCH volume, scheduled for publication in early 2016.
Session attendees learned about the DCP3 series objectives, the economic evaluation methodologies used in the volumes, and the key findings about cost-effective interventions to promote growth and development from reproductive care to child health.
