Welcome to the first issue of the DCP3 monthly newsletter, available by email and also on our website, www.dcp-3.org. Our main goal in creating this newsletter is to inform audiences about the work of the DCP3 project and to receive feedback and comments on draft chapters as they are published online. As a member of the DCP3 team, you are already actively engaged in the enterprise, but we encourage you to continue to help us build our network and to participate in the dissemination of DCP3 information. You can do so by sharing this newsletter with colleagues and by providing us with news, articles, research, and updates to share with the broader DCP3 community.
