AIDS, STIs, TB and Malaria Volume Authors Meeting

The editors and lead authors for the DCP3 volume on AIDS, STIs, TB and Malaria met to discuss draft chapter outlines and synergies across various chapters.  The two-day meeting was held at the University of California, Berkeley on January 14-15, 2014.  The objectives of the meeting were to:

  • Share preliminary outlines of ASTM chapters; discuss integration and synergies across chapters.
  • Identify specific new economic or health systems work or any new analytics.
  • Integrate 2035 investment framework (Commission on Investing in Health) into disease specific goals for each ASTM chapter.

Meeting attendees received further guidance on chapter preparation from the DCPN Secretariat and developed clear next steps for completing first drafts.  Draft chapters for the volume will be available on the DCP3 website in fall, 2014.
