DCP3 contributing author Teri Reynolds was recently interviewed by The New York Times for her work in the field of emergency care. Dr. Reynolds has spent much of her career working to expand access to quality emergency care in the developing world, and is currently a scientist for the Department for Management of Noncommunicable Diseases, Disability, Violence and Injury Prevention at the World Health Organization. Her work includes collaborating with policymakers and healthcare providers to conduct assessments, identify gaps, and implement new systems to increase the quality of and access to emergency care. 

Dr. Reynolds has been a contributing author on several chapters in DCP3 Volume 9: Disease Control Priorities, including "Strengthening Health Systems to Provide Emergency Care."
