Dr. Amardeep Thind holds a Canada Research Chair in Health Services Research. He is a head and neck surgeon with a PHD in Health Services Research.
His research focuses on vulnerable populations, examining barriers to care for women and children, system issues and economic implications of systems change. Internationally he has assessed barriers to care in the Dominican, Indonesia, Phillipines & Rural India focusing on diarrhea and respiratory illness in children, and reproductive health in women.
